A serial Internet entrepreneur since the mid 90s, Allan Tone has founded several web design companies, a highly successful web hosting company, and a Real Estate virtual tour company. Located in the Washington DC metropolitan area, Allan currently runs a video production company, FilmMaker Etc.  Experiencing a serious shortage of high quality and affordable Online Video Platforms (OVPs) geared for independent producers like himself, Allan was compelled to develop ProVDN Inc.

Allan has worked with developers from across the nation to collaborate and build ProVDN.com. Incorporated into the platform is a cutting edge video encoding engine developed by Zencoder, and a Global Content Delivery Network with edge servers in Ashburn, VA, Dallas/Fort Worth TX, Los Angeles CA, Miami FL, Newark NJ, Palo Alto CA, Seattle WA, St. Louis MO, Amsterdam, Dublin, Frankfurt, London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.

The platform also includes a client video review and approval application that is truly unique among online video platforms. It allows clients to preview their videos and mark them up right on the actual video frames. This piece was developed by an equally brilliant group of programmers on the East Coast.
